Service Fees

At Leading Lights we provide services regardless of whether your child qualifies for the NDIS. Sometimes starting the intervention and therapy means your child moves mountains and the journey with us is short. If your child does qualify, we help you access that support, because we know it can be an overwhelming process.

If you have NDIS funding

If your child’s NDIS plan is self managed, or you have a plan management agency assisting you with your funds, you are able to access services from Leading Lights Early Intervention. Our prices are determined using the NDIS Fee Schedule.

Our NDIS rates follow the two NDIA registration codes that apply to a child’s age. Everything below is charged within the price limits set out in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, and we will only ask for payment once you have confirmed the service was delivered.

If you do not have NDIS funding

You can still access our services. We charge privately paying families the same hourly rate as a family funded by the NDIS.

Every service on this pageOne rate, whatever your child’s age.$193.99 per hour
Sessions run 45 to 55 minutes and include parent and carer support and strategies. Current as at July 2026.

We also run a fundraising program that helps families who cannot access the NDIS to access our services. If the fees are out of reach for your family, please ask us about it.

Non face to face support

The following are claimable as non face to face support:

  • Telephone consultation
  • School observation communication
  • End of term update communication
  • Research, for example specialist equipment
  • Individual Intervention Plans (IIP)
  • Communication and coordination with other providers, including schools

We do not claim for all non face to face activities. Common ones we complete but do not claim for include scheduling, and creating service agreements and service bookings. Further detail is in the NDIS Price Guide.

If you cannot make an appointment, tell us as early as you can. During term we need two clear business days’ notice. During school holidays we need seven, because a holiday booking is much harder to fill. With less notice than that, or a no show, we may claim up to 100% of the agreed fee for that appointment from your plan, in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.

We can waive that fee where the circumstances warrant it, so it is always worth telling us what has happened.
