About the Role
Duties of the role would include:
- Administering OT assessments across our dynamic caseloads.
- Mentoring and providing advice to other key members of each child's team.
- Working in the clinic, school, community and home environments.
- Provision of therapy which is tailored to participants using a combination of field-related expertise, collaborative input, and creative passion for promoting the best outcomes.
- Developing comprehensive reports and support letters to maximize the outcomes of our families.
- Correspondence with other professionals as required (doctors, teachers, other therapists, work colleagues).
- Assessment and prescription of assistive equipment.
- Provision of comprehensive functional and environmental assessments.
- Collaboration within our multi-disciplinary team to develop informed strategies for working with clients
- Therapy supports including and not limited to: motor skills, sensory profiling, emotional regulation and anxiety, trauma recovery, communication, social skills, and other daily living skills.
Occupational therapy services are provided to NDIS, and privately funded clients.
