About the Role

Duties of the role would include:  

  • Administering OT assessments across our dynamic caseloads. 
  • Mentoring and providing advice to other key members of each child's team.
  • Working in the clinic, school, community and home environments. 
  • Provision of therapy which is tailored to participants using a combination of field-related expertise, collaborative input, and creative passion for promoting the best outcomes. 
  • Developing comprehensive reports and support letters to maximize the outcomes of our families. 
  • Correspondence with other professionals as required (doctors, teachers, other therapists, work colleagues).
  • Assessment and prescription of assistive equipment.
  • Provision of comprehensive functional and environmental assessments.
  • Collaboration within our multi-disciplinary team to develop informed strategies for working with clients 
  • Therapy supports including and not limited to: motor skills, sensory profiling, emotional regulation and anxiety, trauma recovery, communication, social skills, and other daily living skills.

Occupational therapy services are provided to NDIS, and privately funded clients.
